Ms. Scharrer currently is completing her senior year at Sheboygan North High School . She plans to attend the University of North Carolina at Charlotte next fall. Ms. Scharrer has been accepted into the School of Architecture .

Ms. Scharrer was selected as the Sheboygan Rotary Club scholarship winner following interviews with 6 finalists. The finalists were determined through review of the 48 applications received this year.

The Sheboygan Rotary Club announced the award of the scholarship at its annual Good Citizenship / Scholarship awards dinner at the Yacht Club on April 30. See photos of the awards presentation in the accompanying photo gallery.

The Sheboygan Rotary Foundation funds the Sheboygan Rotary Club scholarship. Major factors in the selection of recipients are involvement in school activities, academic achievement, record of community service and/or work experience, and career interests as expressed in a brief essay.

Sheboygan Rotary Club members engage in fund raising activities in order to support this and other projects in the Sheboygan area.
